Previously Alina has served as Chief Executive Officer in Tourism and Retail sector for 9 years in Romanian companies. During her leadership has gained experience of local business, internal control and strategy development.
With business and administrative backgrounds is responsible for the overall direction on organization moves and responsabile for managing the day-to-day activities of Lift for Better.
Due to past professional and personal experiences sets the strategy and vision , leading the team and allocate capital appropiately to fulfill our goal.
She is serving now on the non profit board and is passionate advocate for the rights of women, adolescents, and children.
Team leader, a mother and with open heart is now ready to fight for the needy ones to protect and support.

Liana is an experienced preschool teacher for more than 25 years, educating young children before elementary school. Her background education is a Master Degree in Psychology and Sciences of Education- primary and preschool pedagogy at Babes Bolyai University in Cluj Napoca. Commited to her task in the educational system, she has joined our NGO, to improve schooling methods and building projects for children in Romania from low-income backgrounds, to reach high levels of achievement. She believes a strong education improves the lives of young people which is vital to sustaining our community. For so many years, she is responsible for integrating young children into the world of learning by teaching them socialq skills, personal hygiene, basic reading skills, art, and music.
Together we will upgrade equity in education from preschool through college, engaging diverse communities dedicated to education equity and justice, and build an education system where children will thrive.

Andra Macarie is an early childhood educator with a great passion for supporting children in their first years of life. She believes that every child has the right to a happy childhood and access to education, regardless of their circumstances. This is why she joined Lift for Better community with an open heart, to provide support, warmth and opportunities to those who need it most. Through education and involvement, she believes that together we can build a better future for every child.
