Our projects and actions reflect our values by creating opportunities for the needy ones and our efforts are focused on ending poverty, stopping violence against children and women, and increasing level of education in Romania. Some of our recent initiatives include providing food and clothes to the vulnerable individuals and running educational programs for people from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Lift For Better aims to create this reality by working with people who share the same vision and partnership with other charitable organizations to help those in need.

Our goal is to protect the right of every child in Romania to grow up free from hunger, poverty and violence. It does exist hundreds of cases where children and vulnerable people did nothing wrong, did not create a terrible situation and yet they are suffering and living in a deprived environment.
We believe that all children below the age of 18 should be protected by law. Additionally, they should be cared for and nurtured by their families within safe and loving environments.
To achieve our goal we aim to investigate, promote and lobby for laws that will protect children from trafficking, abuse, and violence.

Every child should have a hot meal every day
We organize local and national campaigns with our volunteers to give meals to the hungry and to collect and distribute food to shelters and nonprofits that assist the less fortunate. We also work to educate the public about the issue of child hunger, and to raise awareness about the importance of education for children.
We believe that every child in Romania should have access to nutritious food, education and healthcare services, and with your help, we can make this a reality!
Romania’s Elderly: The Forgotten Generation

Many of the residents in care centers never have visitors. Nobody comes to see them from family and friends. The main cause for this matter is increasing breakdown of the family unit and the geographical relocation of the family members. To reduce the loneliness and depression we can all go and pay them a visit, talk to them, hug them, that’s all what they need.

UNITED WE CAN HELP INCREASE THE LEVEL OF EDUCATION IN ROMANIA
We work to develop programs and campaigns in the rural sector and not only where access to education is low. Our teachers and volunteers organize classes implementing innovative projects and increasing access to educational resources.
Through the support of our volunteers and dedicated professionals, we develop programs that target children and teenagers, who don’t have access to educational resources. We also provide education for adults to increase their chances of reintegrating into the labor market.
We work with local partners to improve educational services through the implementation of projects, such as:
– Training teachers
– Training volunteers
– Supporting schools with equipment and resources
– Organizing school activities for children and young people
– Developing lesson plans for pre-schools, primary schools, schools for adults or adult education centers.
– Spread educational products and hygiene materials to the ones who need them for a good and healthy comfort.

Our dedicated staff has only one goal and one strategy: to help and improve the life of each individual. Responsible and with open hearts we are committed to our mission to build a better future.
We work with people who are truly devoted and involved in our projects and campaigns programs to really make a difference and to help us achieve our shared goals.
We strongly believe that the willingness of volunteers to offer their time is a true form of solidarity and that it is an important tool to change people’s lives. In this way, Lift for Better has gathered a team of social workers, teachers, assistants, mentors, and administrative personnel who share the same objectives : to rewrite history through lifting for better.
A blissful and united society is directly linked to the good health and comfort of each and every citizen and this is our aim. We do continuous research to offer long lasting solutions.
Driven by values and beliefs we go deeper into the cause. We try to help each one in need and this is our satisfaction.
